Take the belief that you are valuable, worthwhile and capable also know as self-esteem, adding the optimism that comes when you are certain about your abilities and empowered by these, act courageously to face the challenge head-on, this is called confidence. It turns ideas into action.

There are several factors which impact on confidence.

  1. Gene you born with, which impact on the balance of neurochemicals in our brain.
  2. How you treated in your family and society. This includes the social presence of your environment.
  3. The part you have control over, the choices you make, the risk you take. And you think about and respond the challenges and setbacks.

1. Try a quick fix 

There are few tricks to get confidence quickly. Picture your success when you are beginning a difficult task.

Try to listen to energetic music, it can change your mental state in an instant and promote a feeling of power. Even you can strike a powerful pose, it can help you to get immediate confidence.

2. Believe in your ability to improve 

If you are looking for a long-term change then consider your way of thinking about your abilities. Do you think there are fixed or can be developed like muscles?

These beliefs matter because they influence how you act when you faced with setbacks.

If you have fixed mindset then you can give up when you face something difficult.

But if you have a growth mindset and think your abilities can improve then a challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow.

Neuroscientist supports the growth mindset because the connection in your brain does get stronger with study and practice.

3. Practice failure 

You are going to fail sometimes, everyone does. Right Brothers had many failed attempt of flight until they get succeed in designing of the airplane.
